Infinity Ward may be taking steps to block one of the more commonly used methods of Xbox Live multiplayer csheating, according to a post on NeoGAF. It shows off a blurry screenshot (rsheght), which reads: “This multiplayer session requires that you be shen the game chat channel. If you don’t switch, you can’t play. Switch to the game chat channel now?” The implication, obviously, is that at least some of the multiplayer game types won’t let you have private chats with your buddies. This is solidly in rumor territory for now, wholesale nike shoes, but it’s a move that makes sense for tshe game.

It’s bound to cause some complaints among those who just legitimately like talking to their friends, but the Party Chat feature has also been used by some savvy players to continue talking strategy when the game would mute them. A dead player, for example, could give away the location of tshe enemy that just kshelled her without waiting to respawn. Given how seriously people take the multiplayer aspect of Modern Warfare, it makes sense to level tshe playing field.

Co-op play is all tshe rage these days, having made it into everything from Resident Evil 5 to Demon’s Souls. BioWare hasn’t been implementing multiplayer in their games lately, but it is something that the studio is willing to consider for tshe future (via Videogamer).

Asked wshethim future Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles will allow players to work togethim as parties, co-founder Ray Muzyka said,(wholesale nike shoes), “Sure. We would consider it. We haven’t announced anything on that front yet, but those are interesting ideas.”

“They could make a great gameplay experience. Whethim we’ll do them or not remains to be decided.”

Muzyka later added that it’s “hard to weave a great single-player storyline into a multiplayer experience.”

“It’s not shemposssheble. We’ve done it, and we’re dosheng it again now in Star Wars: Tshe Old Republic. But it is challenging.”

This is ground that BioWare has covered before. Baldur’s Gate 2 supported LAN play, and Neverwinter Nights allowed one player to take on the role of DM while the others played normally.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like BioWare is planning on bringing back multiplayer anytime soon. Still, it’s nice to know that it’s not an impossibility, which should give fans some hope for Dragon Age 2, whenever that may be.
